I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to a new service that Lutheran Church Charities is making available to you to share your faith with others. For some time now we have been working on ways to further touch lives that are
hurting with Spoken Prayers. We know the positive results that occur when you forward my devotions on to others who are going through different types of struggles.
We want to add another resource for you to touch lives - SPOKEN PRAYERS.
In much the same way that e-mail cards work, our SPOKEN PRAYERS can be sent to others who are going through various faith challenging life issues. They can also be used by you personally. We know from Scripture the value of prayer and how God hears and answers all prayers. Therefore we have developed e-mail Spoken Prayers.
Here's how it works:
Each Daily Devotion we send out will have a link if you would like to listen to a prayer or send a prayer to someone. You simply click on the link and select the prayer you would like to send. You will also have an opportunity to send a note with the prayer. The person you are sending the prayer to will receive an e-mail stating that you have sent them a prayer. They can then click on the link to hear (and see) the Spoken Prayer.
Those who receive a prayer will also have an opportunity to have a pastor contact them either by e-mail, phone, or in person. That will only happen however, if THEY CHOOSE to be contacted, we will not solicit them.
While we were developing this, we also put together some e-mail Christmas Cards for those who are behind in sending Christmas Cards to family and friends.
