Volunteers Help Flood Clean Up in Rockford
This past weekend the Daily Herald ran an article about the recent Servant Event in Rockford, Illinois. LCC partnered with Pastor Stephen Klemp and the congregation of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rockford and Love, Inc. to help clean up after the recent flooding. The article did not mention either Redeemer or Love Inc. and LCC would like to correct that oversight and extend our sincere thanks to both organizations. We would also like to say a special thank you to Jean Heise, member of Redeemer and President of The Haven Network for Perinatal Death & Bereavement, for ministering to several hurting people that day as well as to all the volunteers who gave so generously of their time and talents to serve those in need in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the end of the day you all Made a Difference in People's Lives and in God's Kingdom! Click here to read the article from the Daily Herald.

LCC Serves the LCMS
During the week of July 13-19, Tim Hetzner, Dianna Bonfield, James Kirschenmann, and Emily Hetzner of the LCC staff were in Houston, Texas serving at the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod National Convention. One of the big draws at the convention is the complimentary neck and back massage offered to delegates at the LCC display booth. Click here to see more pictures of the convention.
